Marketing and Communications Plan + Marketing Support
Objective
Working in partnership with Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County (ICGMC), develop a marketing and communications plan that supports strategic goals, engages new and current supporters, increases pathways to fundraising, and raises awareness of key programs. Provide ongoing marketing and communications guidance and support that includes brand support, developing templates for internal and external communications, improving communications and storytelling processes for long-term sustainability for fundraising, programs, staff and board recruitment, and advocacy.
Results
Developed a marketing and communications plan that:
Includes goals and historic benchmark data, identifies KPIs and resources to help manage goals
Provides recommendations to improve internal systems and support sustainable communications procedures
Includes a communications calendar and planning template/methodology
Details full audit of and recommendations for improvements to website, email newsletters and schedule of communications, social media, and annual appeal
Provides customized audience personas, elevator pitch, and language style guidelines
Developed a sub-brand, branding guide, full suite of logo artwork, signage and brochure handouts for the organization’s newly launched Cardinal Club, a donation-focused entity designed to foster increased long-term giving and fundraising.
Developed an email newsletter template and staff training to facilitate sustainable updates over time
Provided written guidance for better mobile photography and videography by staff and volunteers
Worked with the web design team to enhance performance and facilitate sustainable maintenance procedures.
In 2025, the organization’s annual fundraising appeal EXCEEDED its goal by 106.4% after implementing strategies and tactics from our work together.
