Foundation Academies Charter School
Objective:
Foundation Academies is a top-performing K-12 public charter school in Trenton, NJ. Founded in 2007, Foundation Academies serves more than 1,000 students. Its high school graduating class is routinely 100% college bound. In April 2020, in the immediate aftermath of statewide school closings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Foundation Academies found their communications staff overwhelmed with the tasks of continuing to publicize the charter school while simultaneously serving as the resource for communication on all subjects to staff, parents, and the community. Working in partnership with Foundation Academies, Positive Solutions was tasked with relieving some of their communications workload as soon as possible within tight budget constraints.
Results:
Positive Solutions found that social media was an area that the staff found very time-consuming, so we created a robust plan to develop daily and weekly content for the busy end-of-school year months of May and June:
